Change of season, change of flavour!

In order to be able to make and guarantee constant quality and flavour of our juices, the fruit lab combines various varieties and origins. The oranges are imported from all over the world, where ever the flavour is at it’s best during that time of year. A new season has arrived and this means that we currently import our oranges from the southern hemisphere, from countries like Uruguay, Peru and Southern Africa.

The flavour of fruit can change with every harvest and the intensity of sweet, sour and bitter can vary. The numbers on the packaging of the fruit lab reflect this intensity.

Because of the new season the number of the Valencia Orange has changed from 463 to 562. This means that the Valencia Orange has a bit increased in sweetness and decreased in bitterness.

The other flavours will keep their numbers. The Senga Sengana Strawberry and the Hayward Kiwi do contain orange juice also, but because of the combination with other fruit the effect is too small to change the numbers.
